Internship Program: Management, Hotel Management, and Travel & Tourism Internship at Satpura Jungle Retreat [Tiger Resort]  India 🌳🐅 (Self-Sponsored Program)


Program Overview: Satpura Tiger Resort, a premier Wildlife Resort in India, is offering an exciting 3-month self-sponsored Internship program for Hotel Management (HM), Travel & Tourism, and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Students. This program provides Students with practical experience in hospitality management, tourism, and Resort operations within a unique, eco-friendly, and Wildlife-rich environment. Interns will gain industry-specific training, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to work in one of the most celebrated natural reserves in India.

Program Details:

  • Duration: 3-4 Weeks 

  • Location: Satpura Jungle  Retreat, Madhya Pradesh, India

  • Eligibility: Open to Hotel Management, Travel & Tourism, and PGDM Students

  • Stipend: None (self-sponsored, Students will pay for their OJT visit)

  • Start Date: 

  • Feb 25 2025

  • Deadline for Applications:  Feb 05 2025

Program Structure:

  1. Orientation (5 Days)

    • Duration: First 1 week 

    • Overview:
      Interns will begin with an orientation program, designed to introduce them to Resort operations, hospitality industry basics, and eco-tourism. Key topics covered include:

      • Introduction to Satpura Tiger Resort and its eco-tourism model

      • Wildlife conservation and sustainable tourism practices

      • Overview of Resort management, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance

      • Training in travel and tourism operations, including tour management and customer service

      • Corporate ethics and customer relationship management in a Resort setting

  2. Field Training  (25 Days)
    After the orientation, Interns will engage in hands-on field training at Satpura Tiger Resort in various departments:
    Hotel Management Sector:

    • Assist in daily operations, including front desk management, guest services, housekeeping, and F&B management.

    • Learn about sustainable hospitality practices and eco-friendly Resort operations.

    • Gain experience in managing guest services and special requests.

  3. Travel & Tourism Sector:

    • Participate in planning and managing eco-tours, nature walks, and safaris.

    • Assist in creating personalized itineraries and handling guest inquiries.

    • Learn about Wildlife tourism and its importance in conservation efforts.

  4. PGDM Sector:

    • Work with the management team on business strategy, marketing, and operations.

    • Develop skills in Resource management, financial analysis, and leadership.

    • Assist in enhancing the guest experience and Resort branding.

Self-Sponsorship & Program Fees:

This is a self-sponsored program, meaning Students will be responsible for the costs associated with the Internship, including:

  • Travel Expenses

  • Accommodation

  • Food & Miscellaneous Costs

  • Program Fee  

  • Aprox INR 75000 

The Resort will offer affordable accommodation options and guidance on travel logistics to ensure a seamless experience.

    • Enrollment in a Hotel Management, Travel & Tourism, or PGDM program.
